The Old 'Uns Win.
The curling match between the "Kids" and the "Old 'Uns", terminated on Wednesday evening, when the final game was played. Each had won two games, therefore the best efforts were put forth at the final match. The ice was too heavy for the "Kids", however, and the veterans won by a score of 15 to 6. The total score of the match is as follows:
Rink No. 1 - Jeff Woodnorth, skip, Hugo Lea, Charles Hoffmann, S. Chandler; 16, 10, 10, 15, 15 - 66.
Rink No. 2 - J.H. MCullough, skip, Will Rice, Arthur Chandler, Thomas Holly; 7, 14, 11, 12, 6 - 52.
The "Kids" paid for the oyster supper, which was the prize.
Play for points for the Rogers cup began this Thursday morning at the rink with about fifteen curlers present.
