WAUPACA REPUBLICAN

December 16, 1892

The Danes’ Home people had a larger hall planned two years ago but Albert Breit bought the lot north of the Home which cut them short of the required room.  An extension back to Breit’s building would give them a hall 60 feet or a little over, and that is not deep enough.  If they can sell their present site they have one or two locations in view and they will then purchase a new site and build a combination building for their meetings, socials, and a hall for entertainments and dancing.  If they should build they will erect a building that will supply the demand for some time to come.

As it is Waupaca is stranded as far as a place to listen to theaters and all large public entertainments is concerned.
