Disbanded and Reorganized

 

            The city fire department met on Monday evening, disbanded and reorganized, in accordance with the resolution of the council, recently passed.  The new department will be composed of thirty men, fifteen from the engine company, and fifteen from the hook and ladder company.  The following officers were elected:

            Chief – Frank Stout.

            Assistant Chief – George Niles.

            There were about twenty members enrolled at the meeting.  Monday night, and the roll will be filled by each company in the department.
