THE REPUBLICAN November 25, 1898 Capt. C. S. DeVoin has traded his hotel property with Dr. C. E. Beeson of Fond du Lac for a farm near that city. The farm is worth $15,000 and Mr. DeVoin gets $11,000 for his hotel. Mr. DeVoin will not vacate until March 1st and he has many friends here who still hope he may dispose of his farm in Fond du Lac and remain in business in Waupaca. Charley DeVoin is a No. 1 citizen as well as soldier. |
