THE WAUPACA POST October 6, 1892 A NEW HOTEL Mr. George W. Ghoca, who purchased the Vosburg House on May 1st, last, has practically made a new hotel of it. He has had it painted throughout, has put in steam heat and electric lights in every room, has improved the service not only in the dining room and office, but throughout the house, and this week, the identity of the old house will be lost in the new name, “Hotel Florence”, it being named after Mr. Ghoca’s four year old daughter, the pet of all the guests of the house. Her bright face, a counterpart of which is given here, will adorn all the stationery of the hotel in the future. Mr. Ghoca has enjoyed an increased trade since coming here, and has shown himself to be a public spirited, enterprising man. All success to the “Hotel Florence”.
