                                                                   Grand View Hotel Opening

The Grand View Hotel at the Chain o’ Lakes will be formally opened for the reception of guests, Saturday, June 25.  The opening dinner will be served Saturday evening from 6:00 to 7:30 o’clock, and extensive arrangements have been made to have everything par-excellent.  The price of the dinner will be seventy-five cents for each person.  In the evening a dancing party will be given at the pavilion and Allen’s full orchestra will furnish the music.  Many improvements have been made at and around the Grand View Hotel this spring, and never before in its history has everything presented such an attractive appearance.  Mr. John D. Caughell, the manager, will be pleased to see present as many of his Waupaca friends as possible, and the REPUBLICAN can assure a good time for all.  Electric cars will run as usual, leaving Waupaca on the hour, the last car leaving the Grand View Hotel at midnight.  Special electric cars will leave Versen’s corner at 8:30 and  9:30  p.m. in addition to the regular cars.
