                                                                     GRAND VIEW OPENING

This Popular Resort Will Open For The Season Next Sunday

Manager E. C. Green announces that the informal opening of the Grand View Hotel at the Chain o’ Lakes, will take place next Sunday, June 9.  He expects his chef here on Friday evening, and his crew of waiters on Saturday, and the first meal to be served will be breakfast Sunday morning.  Luncheon will be served at noon, and dinner at 6 o’clock at night.

Allen’s orchestra has been engaged for Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, for the season, and dancing parties will be held in the Amusement hall on Saturday evening of each week.  The first one, which will be held on June 15, will be a complimentary affair tendered by the Grand View to its Waupaca friends.

The Grand View grounds have been thoroughly cleaned and put in fine condition, the buildings have been painted, the porches will be lighted with electricity, and electric pump has been put in to keep the water tank filled, bath rooms have been added, and in fact the place can hardly be recognized, so great the elegant has been the change.

Mr. and Mrs. Greene are hotel managers of ability, and the present prospects are that the Grand View will have a most successful season.
