WAUPACA REPUBLICAN

April 1, 1881

The English sparrows imported to Central Park, New York, a few years ago, with so much care, as insect destroying birds, have spread over the country and in many cities have become so numerous as to be a nuisance.  They have been at Oshkosh about three years, and have now reached Waupaca.  We saw a flock of half a dozen yesterday morning.
