Killed by Anthrax

Anthrax claimed its second victim in Wisconsin in 22 years, according to medical men at Neenah when Ferdinand Pluger, 68, died at his home Saturday.  A shaving brush presented to Pluger as a Christmas present is suspected as the source of infection and has been sent to the University of Wisconsin chemical laboratory for examination.  Pluger developed a small sore on one cheek five days after using the brush. The only other death from anthrax reported in Wisconsin during the past 22 years, medical men say, occurred in Milwaukee six years ago.
