REPUBLICAN February 28, 1890 The Merrill papers are the first to publish the official list of city candidates under the Cooper Election Law. All the candidates of every party and a blank space for writing or pasting in your choice for each office are on one ticket. It makes a large ticket and will require a larger ballot box than formerly to hold them. Merrill’s municipal election occurs March 4th. |
