SHERIDAN

Mr. and Mrs. Sessions moved to this town in 1851 and owned part of the farm now owned by Mr. Hatch and the Johnson farm across. They left in ’53, afterwards going to their present state with an ox team. Some parts of "Sessions Prairie" looked familiar to them and they told some of the hardships and pleasures of those early days. Theirs was the second home made, Delos Hutchinson’s the first. The only other neighbors were T. Blair, T. Godfrey, Z. Nelson, G. Severence and one or two others.
