And now Bill Hanscomb has left Oshkosh leaving several to (financially) mourn his departure.  Hanscomb had always borne a good reputation as a lumberman, and such men as Ripley and Mead had always had confidence in him and entrusted him with money, but the inevitable whisky and gambling will get the best of 'em and that is probably the cause of Hanscomb's skipping to Canada
