OSHKOSH COURIER

The Stevens Point Pinery says that Chas. Clark, who has been officiating as a preacher at Lind, Waupaca Co., has run away with the wife of Peter Hilliker. The Black Republican party seems to have demoralized pretty much all the ministers in the land. – From the following description of the erring fair one, it would appear that the reverend gentleman was rather easily captivated:
She is rather small, black hair and eyes, hair a little gray, somewhat cross-eyed, has lost some of her front teeth. When she left, had on a tan colored DeLaine dress, light shoes, a snud colored bonnet and veil, black cape, uses spectacles occasionally, and usually smokes after her meals.
