WOLVES. – Mr. Wm. Pinkerton, having had a calf killed by the Wolves Friday night, took occasion to put strychnine upon the remains. Sunday morning a tremendous big Wolf was found dead, a short distance from where he had taken the dose. More must have been poisoned, as there was a pack of them. - Waupaca Spirit.
