 Old residents of Waupaca will be interested in the following extract from a letter from Wilson Holt, a former merchant of Waupaca, to Winthrop Lord:  “Our son, William and family are here from China.  They live here now and will this summer.  Will’s health is not good, but we hope this climate will fully restore him.  He does not know whether he will return or not.  They have four nice, bright children – three boys and one girl.”
