THE REPUBLICAN POST January 29, 1914 Silas Johnson Sunday
morning, Jan. 25, at his home four miles east of this city, occurred the death
of Silas Samuel Johnson after an illness of more than one year, the cause of
death being pernicious anemia. Deceased
was fifty-nine years of age and leaves a wife, three daughters, an aged mother,
a sister, Mrs. Taylor Looker, and other relatives to mourn his untimely
death. The funeral was held Wednesday
at 10:30 at the home, Rev. Sheard of the First Methodist Church of this city
officiating. The remains were laid at
rest in Lakeside cemetery. |
