            Alden Looker of Waupaca, will suffer the loss of the little finger on his right hand, which was knocked out of joint about three weeks ago.  He was working at a sawing machine when the finger came in contact with a bolt that projected from the fly wheel.  The wound was dressed but instead of getting better it became worse and now amputation will be necessary.  Dr. E.H. Jones was called upon to perform that operation this morning.     - Chronicle
