Peter Nelson

 

            Peter Nelson resided in the city of Waupaca for the last ten years. He was born in Denmark in 1831, came to Neenah in 1876, moved to green Bay in 1881 and next to Waupaca.  He was eighty-four years of age at the time of his death at his home here Friday, July 23.  Deceased was married in Denmark in 1852 to Miss Mary Monson and leaves to mourn five children, Peter Nelson, Crystal Falls, Mich.; Robert Nelson, Denmark, Wis.; Christina (Mrs. Ingram), Bellingham, Wash.; Nels Nelson, Crystal Falls, Mich.; Jake Nelson, Waupaca.  The funeral was held Monday afternoon from the Holy Ghost church, Rev. Gudmund Grill officiating.  The remains were laid at rest in Lakeside Cemetery beside those of the wife, who died about ten years ago.
