THE WAUPACA REPUBLICAN

July 24, 1903

The Century Book of Facts.

Claude Paris is a young man who was born in Waupaca and graduated from our high school, has the agency for the “Century Book of facts” by Henry W. Ruoff, M.A.D.C.L. formerly professor in the Pennsylvania State College, and an author of note.  This book is an epitome of facts in a comprehensive form boiled down for the busy man, no matter what profession or calling.  No matter what subject is desire for reference it is right at hand in one volume comprehensively considered and tersely told.  The book in its several classes of bindings is within the reach of all as far as price is concerned. Mr. Paris ought to find ready customers for this work.  A volume should have a place in every home, office, school and library in the land. From a careful examination of the contents the REPUBLICAN can cheerfully recommend the work.  Mr. Paris who is attending Lawrence University is taking orders during vacation and the commissions he gets on his sales will be a great help to him in his educational expenses.
