STREET CAR MAY CARRY MAIL

Home Will Get Three Mails Daily If Contract Is Let To Company

 

            Ralph Bird of Milwaukee, U.S. post office inspector, was in the city Wednesday negotiating for carrying mail between the Soo Line depot and the Veterans Home.  Arrangements are under way whereby the Waupaca Electric Light & Railway Co. may be given the contract for carrying the mails which will give the Home three mails each day.  Mail will also be sent from the Home three times daily.  This will give the Home as good service almost as the city has.  The matter will be definitely settled within a few days.
