POTATO CERTIFICATION Important
Notice Solicited By Wisconsin Experiment Station The following “Important notice” is
given prominent position and space gratis as the publishers of the
Republican-Post believe that this movement should be understood by potato
growers of this and adjoining counties. Madison,
June 22, 1915. To Wisconsin Editors: The Horticultural Department of this
station desires through this letter to get an important notice on seed potato
inspection to Wisconsin potato growers at once. The Department will, therefore, appreciate any conspicuous
mention that you can give to this announcement. Notice
of Seed Potato Certification For 1915 Information at hand in the
Horticultural Department indicates that potato growers have not read the
important announcement made recently relative to potato inspection and
certification for 1915. Applications for Inspection of
Potato Fields must be on file in the Horticultural Department, Wisconsin
Experiment Station, Madison, Wis., by July 15th. No Inspection can be made on Applications received after that
date. Application blanks are now available
in the Horticultural Department and can be secured by addressing the
Horticultural Department, Wisconsin Experiment Station, Madison, Wis. Wisconsin Experiment station
Bulletin 252 on Seed Potato Certification, can be secured by request. - J.G.
