Mr. L.E. Scott of Neenah, agent for the Hoover potato digger is in this section placing some of those famous machines.  William Bruley has one at work on his farm this week.  He says it requires 4 horses to successfully work it, but the way it rolls out potatoes is a caution to the grower - to get plenty of pickers, as eight or ten acres a day is a picnic for it.  Clark Holman had one trial Tuesday, and he said they started in and worked about thirty minutes and had a load of fifty bushels.  The increase of acreage every year in this potato belt seems to necessitate the use of some practical planting and digging machines.
