WAUPACA REPUBLICAN September 13, 1889 The potato market has opened with three firms in the field buying, A.M. Penney, W.C. Baldwin and Pinkerton & Anderson. 20 cents per bushel starts up the market in good shape. It bids fair to be lively for some time. Though many farmers say the yield is not as good as last year. The tubers are good however. |
