Depot Improvements

From a reliable source the POST has information regarding contemplated improvements at the Wisconsin Central depot, which if made, will give general satisfaction to all concerned.  The old hotel building now used as an office and passenger depot will be remodeled and made into two large waiting rooms, an express office and business office, the freight warehouse moved over upon the site of Gilmore & Ware warehouse, more platform buid, and probably a covered one for the protection of passengers from rain and sun.  The general appearance of the buildings will be greatly improved and made a credit to the place.  The railway officials regard Waupaca as a business point, and say that as soon as possible these changes will be made, and that the work will be done this summer or fall.
