NEW PASSENGER STATION OPENED

New Station is commodious and Strictly Up to Date

The new passenger station was formally accepted by the railroad officials on Thursday and the building opened to the public.  It took but a short time for Agent Campbell and his force to move into the new quarters from the box car which has been in use as office, waiting room and baggage room since the old station burned.

The new station is a concrete structure with tile roof and contains a general waiting room, lady’s rest room and baggage room.  It is equipped with a modern heating and plumbing plant, also electric lights.

This comfortable, modern, up to date depot will be greatly appreciated by not only the citizens of Waupaca but by the traveling public.
