CAR GOES OFF THE TRACKS NEAR WEYAUWEGA; HAMS ARE “MINCED” SOME

 

 

     Hams were “minced” at 5:30 a.m. Friday, two mile west of Weyauwega when a car of meat on Soo line train, Extra 2420, was derailed, scattering its contents in every direction.

     The derailment was caused by the breaking of an arch bar on the car.  Traffic was delayed for two hours and considerable damage was done to the broken car and its contents.  The wrecker was summoned to the scene of the accident and assisted in cleaning up the debris.

     Engineer Failor of North Fond du Lac and Conductor Hamilton of Fond du Lac were in charge of the train.
