Soo Train is Derailed, Six Slightly Injured

Six persons were slightly injured and property damage of $25,000 resulted Thursday when Soo Line passenger train No. 1 was completely derailed two miles west of Stockton station.

August Binsky, Auburndale; Mrs. Irving Allman and her four-weeks old baby, Chicago; and Mrs. Casimir Przybylski and four-year old son also of Chicago, were rushed to St. Michael’s hospital at Stevens Point, suffering from shock.

The derailment was caused by equipment giving away under the tender, tripping the trucks of the tender as the train was traveling 50 miles an hour.
