Auto Winter Driving the Latest in Years

State trunk highways out of Waupaca are still passable for automobiles it is reported, the latest in the season for a number of years. Bus lines are still running on schedule, which is said to be a record, it being but seldom that busmen have been able to continue operations until so late in the winter.

Highway 18 is in perfect driving condition going south, but badly drifted, although passable, to Stevens Point. 49 to Scandinavia is open although there are one or two bad drifts. 22 and 54 to New London and Clintonville are excellent. Autoists say the worst drifts to be found on any of the highways open, are between Waupaca and Stevens Point.
