THE WOLF RIVER BOOM CO. RATES,
FOR 1861.
A typographical error having occurred in the following notice, is now published with the proper correction.
At a meeting of stockholders held Nov. 30, 1860, it was decided to deliver all logs rafted by the Company, through their canal, in Cutoff Bay, for the following rates, each owner’s logs to be coupled in separate fleets.
12 cts. pr. log for logs averaging less than 3 logs to M ft.
10 cts. pr. log for logs aver. Over 3 & less than 4 logs to M feet;
9 cts pr. log for logs aver. Over 4 and less than 4-1/2 logs to M. feet.
8 cts pr. log for logs aver. Over 4-1/2 logs to M. ft.
Logs are to remain in possession of the Co. until charges are paid or arranged.
The Co. are to use such material as owners furnish; but if not furnished by owners the Co. will provide traverse poles, pins and couplings, for one 50-100 pr. raft.
Scattering logs and logs running in boom from broken cribs, will be charged full charter rates.
Bills for rafting, in every case, to be approved at the Boom by owners or their agents and superintendents.
