Opened September 17, 1894. Dedication October 18. Large new building, well equipped with library and apparatus, fine gymnasium, 51 x 70, with baths and other modern appliances. English, Latin, German courses, four years; Elementary course, two years; special selection of studies for common school teachers, one year, Standard for admission and for graduation the same as at other State Normal Schools. Full corps of competent teachers. High school graduates, and those who pass suitable examinations, given advanced standing; students who show they can profit thereby permitted to take selected studies within the limits of the program. Admission on second grade certificates or by examination at the school or in your own county. Special credit for high standings on third grade certificates. Review classes and grammar grade for those not ready to enter the Normal. Tuition free in Normal classes; a moderate charge in lower and model grades. Rooms, without board, $2.00 to $5.00 per month.
