REPUBLICAN February7, 1896 Last summer joint school district No. 7, town of Waupaca, known as the “Stone Quarry School,” built an extra room on the school house and employed another teacher. The school now has sixty scholars, and is graded; and the people of the district are well satisfied with the result. The teachers are Misses Mary Bemis, of this city, and Rosa Leuthold, of Iola, who are having good success. – Record. |
