All Night Telephone Service

The Wisconsin Telephone Company commenced giving its patrons an all night telephone service on Monday night last. Mrs. Chady, in charge of the local exchange, has made the necessary arrangements, and subscribers will be able to use their phones at any hour during the twenty-four. The exchange now numbers nearly sixty members and is constantly growing.

The all night service will give the city a better fire alarm service than it has yet had. Telephones are located in nearly all parts of the city, and in case of fire in the out-skirts an alarm can be telephoned to the city hall. If the fire is downtown, the central office can notify subscribers.
