THE REPUBLICAN April 1, 1898 The Badger Telephone Company has been placing their line and telephones in good trim lately, having had Mr. Kepler, an expert electrician from the Wolf River line, overseeing the work, Miss Florence Bailey, the manager, has an all night service so that any person desiring to call a doctor or for any emergency in the city or from any town from Berlin to this city on the Badger line or from New London, Manawa, Royalton, Weyauwega or other place on the Wolf River line to Waupaca can be accommodated at all times, day or night. When the proposed extensions are completed to Oshkosh in connection with the Northwestern Telephone Company’s lines and exchange of five hundred subscribers in that city it will make it one of the largest and most reasonable independent telephone line in the state. |
