            The Telephone management is in charge of John Colrue. The first “Hello” over the line between Weyauwega and Waupaca, was a conversation between J. R. Ennis and John Colrue.  The first message was received by Myron Reed. The line will be connected Thursday with Royalton which will place Waupaca on the state system of the Wis. Telephone Co.

 

 

            The Telephone wires were strung on the poles in Waupaca Monday, and the Public Telephone station established at the jewelry store of Chas. Hoffmann.  The line men will continue on their journey to the Point.  Mr. Stone will return to Waupaca next week, and the matter of a telephone exchange will be arranged, or in other words he will se how many phones are wanted in Waupaca.
