POSTS AT THE STREET CROSSINGS IN WAUPACA

 

Traffic Must Pass to Right of These.

Have Been Found To Be a Success In Other Places.

 

            As we stand on a corner of our streets at any hour of the day, we see autos going in each direction cut the corners close.  Every once in a while we see an accident averted only by what seems to us to be a miracle.  Would each driver keep to the right all of this danger would be eliminated.

            To meet this situation posts will be placed in the center of the street on our four most busy corners.  These will bear the injunction – Keep to the right.

            We are more than glad to see this forward step taken and while it will be a little inconvenient for a time, in the end we shall all become accustomed to them and shall all be keeping on the safe side.
