WAUPACA REPUBLICAN

September 2, 1992

Edward E. Browne has entered into a partnership with is father Hon. E.L. Browne as attorneys, counselors and solicitors.  The REPUBLICAN is glad to note that young Browne decided to remain in Waupaca and practice his chosen profession right at home.  He is a graduate of the State University in letters and law, and stood at the head of the list.  Like his father he has ability as well as originality as a scholar and orator and the REPUBLICAN wishes success to the new law firm of E.L. and Edward E. Browne.

E.L. Browne has painted and re-shingled his building between the law office and DeVoin’s Hotel in good shape for Henry Hanson’s laundry, and now Mr. Hanson is having all he can do; having put in a new steam boiler and patent ironer also a heater of his own design.  He intends soon to have a steam engine do all the manual labor of running the machines.  In fact, Mr. Hanson says all he asks is for the people to not forget that Waupaca has a laundry and he will have as good an establishment as any one would ask for in a short time.
