THE ELECTRIC RAILWAY HAS NOT BEEN SOLD

Current Rumors Have It That the W.E.L. & Ry. Co. Has Been Sold

It has been the talk, and considerable excitement has been aroused by the story circulating that the W.E.L. & Ry. Co., had sold its entire holdings.

On interviewing Mr. Lord, we found that two gentlemen from Minnesota, a Mr. E.A. Aspness, of Montevideo, Minn., and Mr. Truman Mibbard, Pres. of Electrical Machine Co., Minneapolis, have been in touch with the manager of the local line, and have said they would take over the property. All parties agreeing to the consideration of $100,000.

Negotiations have not been entered into as yet, but it is expected that within thirty days something will be done.
