OF JUNE WEDDINGS IS BRILLIANT AFFAIR One
Couple Refuse to Wait for June and Steal
March on Their Friends - Married at Crystal Lake Stanley Hocking of this city, whose
marriage to Miss Florence Stinemates of Crystal Lake, was announced for Monday
of this week, thought he would turn the tables on his friends, who were
planning for a big time, and was married on Sunday at the home of the bride’s
parents at Crystal Lake, Rev. S.A. Sheard officiating. The couple left for parts unknown via the
auto route and will no doubt return within a few weeks. One of the first June weddings in
this city was the union of J.C. Polley of New London and Clara Whitman of the
same city. Mrs. Polley is the daughter
of Charles Whitman of New London. The
couple were married by the Rev. Jacobs of this city. Mr. Polley formerly lived here, but left after the death of his
first wife about three years ago. |
