IRELAND-GIBBONS

 

            At high noon, Saturday, Dec. 25, 1909, at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Philo Gibbons on Mill street, Waupaca, their daughter Kittie May was united in holy matrimony to Joseph Cardie Ireland of Milwaukee,.  At the hour appointed the contracting parties took their places in the front parlors where the wedding ceremony was performed in the presence of a number of relatives and friends by Rev. Webster Millar.  The bride who has resided a number of years in this city is highly esteemed for her many good qualities and was beautifully costumed in a princess gown of old rose.  The groom occupies a very responsible position as conductor on the electric railway in Milwaukee, where he his very much respected.  After congratulations were given a very bountiful dinner was served.  The young couple were the recipients of some handsome and valuable gifts.  Guests present out of the city were:  Ira Gibbons, Sheridan, Mrs. Lillian Crostue, St. Paul, Minn., and Mrs. Sarah Gallup and Bert Drew of the town of Lind.

            The young couple left on the 2:53 p.m. train on the Soo railroad for Milwaukee, where they will make their future residence.  Their many friends in Waupaca wish them a good long life of matrimonial bliss.
