            Invitations have been issued by Mr. and Mrs. C.E. Cain for attendance at the marriage of their daughter Pearl S. Cain to Edward F. Laecker, of Menasha, Thursday Sept. 14th, 1905, at the First Baptist Church in Waupaca.

 

 

 

            Many of the young lady friends, both married and single, met at the home of Miss Brena Gibson Thursday afternoon, from four until six o’clock, it being the occasion of a “miscellaneous shower” or prenuptial picnic for Miss Pearl Cain, who is to be married soon.  It rained kitchen tin ware et cetra quite hard but did not dampen the ardor for a lovely time at which ice cream and cake were served on the lawn.
