THE LYRIC THEATRE CHANGE HANDS

Alex Sherr, the New Manager,

Is Planning an Excellent Program For the Very Near Future.

Last Monday a deal was closed by which the Lyric Theatre was sold. Alex Sherr is the new manager and we understand that he is planning to put on an extremely high class of films.

Mr. Sherr’s brother-in-law, is general manager of the line of the best theatres in Milwaukee.  He will co-operate with Mr. Sherr and it is planned to have a class of films which is seldom seen in a city of this size.  The films in the immediate future will be those contracted for by Mr. Ross but as soon as these are shown the new program will begin.

Mr. Ross will probably move to Minneapolis.  He is now considering a position as traveling representative of a large feature film firm.
