WAUPACA POST

January 28, 1886

N.L. Nelson and W.J. Chamberlain are in the fence business this winter, having recently purchased a standard fence machine and placed it in Andrew Hanson’s shop, where it is running at full blast, making picket fencing.  It makes a three wire picket fence suitable for any enclosure.  They use the best quality of bessemer steel wire and expect to be able to manufacture it so that it will be within the reach of everybody.  The slats are woven in the wire from four to eight inches apart.
