A.C. NIELSEN Mrs. A.C.
Nielsen passed away at her home on 409 E. Lake street Friday, July 30, at 9
p.m., after a serious illness of about six months. Anna Kathrine
Johnson was born October 7, 1854, at Helsingor, Denmark; came to America in the
summer of 1870. At the age of sixteen years, on December 24, 1873, she
was united in marriage to Andrew C. Nielsen, and had made her home in Waupaca
ever since. She was a charter member of the Danish Baptist church. She is
survived by her husband and seven children, Misses Flora and Camilla Nielsen,
Carl J., Fred R., Clarence A., Mrs. F.P. Hansen of Kenosha, Wis., Mrs. Wm. M.
Genett of Plymouth, Wis., and six grandchildren. The funeral
services took place at the home Tuesday, August 3, at 1:30 p.m. and at 2
o'clock at the First Baptist church, Rev. Jacobs officiating. Interment
was made in Lakeside cemetery. The following
from out of town attended the funeral; Mrs. John Nielsen, Pelican Lake; Mrs. William
Riddehough, Fremont; Lars S. Grested, Chicago, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Andrew
Johnson, Maple Grove; Mr. and Mrs. Hans Hansen, Lind; Mr. and Mrs. James
Jensen, Parfreyville; Mr. and Mrs. Wm. M. Genett, Plymouth; Mrs. F.P. Hansen,
Kenosha; Mrs. K.M. Sorenson, Fond du Lac. |
