OGDEN HEIRS IN LINE

Third Will Favoring Georgia Woman to be Withdrawn According to Dispatch From Texas

The estate of Francis A. Ogden who died a few months ago at Houston, Texas, has been estimated to aggregate about $12,000,000 mostly composed of real estate in nine states. Several blood heirs of Mr. Ogden reside in this city, descendants of the late Judge Ogden, who was a brother of this eccentric recluse.

Naturally, a number of persons made attempts to obtain this vast estate through offering for probate wills purporting to have executed by the millionaire.  When one of these wills was pronounced fraudulent by the probate judge, the person who offered it went away and committed suicide, possibly fearing prosecution for forgery.  A dispatch from Houston, Texas, dated Sept. 22 states that the third and last will attempting to divert the estate from the lawful blood heirs will be withdrawn by the Georgia woman in whose favor it was filed in probate court.  Page Knight of this city is one of the administrators of the estate of the late F.A. Ogden.  Mrs. Page Knight an- a sister, Mrs. Mary Pitcher, of this city are nieces of the deceased; Will, Charley and Bert Ogden, formerly of this city, are nephews of the deceased man.  We wish them success in securing their legal rights in the matter.
