WAUPACA

PENNEY Succeeds
to the business of Jeffers & Penney The name of Jeffers & Penney, potato and egg dealers in this city, have been for eight years past almost household words; not only in Waupaca but in other cities and in other states, among dealers who handle potatoes and eggs. Mr. Jeffers has given close application to the business every year and during the shipping season has personally superintended many of the most important long-haul shipments, going himself to the wholesaling point. Having an interest in the planing mill and lumber business with Caleb Shearer, Mr. Jeffers decided to sell his interest to his partner, Mr.. A.M. Penney. Mr. Penney is a good man on the street or anywhere, is well-known. Mr. Penney’s places of business embrace the potato and egg warehouse near the Central Depot and the Potato warehouse on the spur track near the Danish Lutheran church. Good luck to Mr. Penney as well as to the retiring member of the firm, Mr. Jeffers. |
