ENJOYS HOME COOKING

Mr. and Mrs. Frank S. Perkins of Denver, Colo., attended the Home Coming at Westfield early this month where Mr. Perkins was station agent for twenty-one years before going to Denver to reside seven years ago.  Having a number of friends in Waupaca, who formerly had resided at Westfield, together with the fact that Mr. Perkins spent his boyhood in this city, from 1864 to 1876, they came to Waupaca a week ago and have met with a most cordial reception and they are putting in some very pleasant hours meeting the friends and talking over amusing incidents of forty to fifty years ago. Mr. Perkins, a son of Leroy Perkins, who died in this city in 1876, was a member of the Waupaca band for several years. He learned telegraphy under M.F. Skinner, now of Oshkosh, where Mr. and Mrs. Perkins spent Saturday and Sunday, returning to this city Monday.  It is surprising to see the number of residents of the city who were here forty years ago and more.
