Mrs. Martin Wallace died Sunday evening, April 23, at the residence of her son, John Wallace, north of the city, at the age of eighty-eight years, four months and three days, after an illness of two weeks due to old age.

McCall of this city and Mrs. J.H. Whittington of Marshfield.  Other grandchildren are William Wallace, who resides near this city, and George Wallace and Mrs. Emil Krieser of Marion.

The funeral was held Wednesday morning at ten o’clock from St. Mary’s church in this city, Rev. Father Mortell officiating.  Interment was in Lakeside cemetery beside the remains of her husband, Martin Wallace.
