WAUPACA REPUBLICAN POST June 22, 1916 John M. Webb John M. Webb was born in the State of New York but resided near Waupaca for many years prior to his removal to Centralia, Wash., in 1893, where he died May 20, 1916, very suddenly of heart failure, at the age of 73 years. Mr. Webb was a veteran of the Civil War and a member of the G.A.R. Post, under whose auspices the funeral was held. He leaves his aged widow, one son, Hiram, of Adna, Wash., and three daughters to mourn the loss of a kind and loving husband and father. The daughters are, Mrs. Henry Paronto of Centralia, Mrs. Ed Dexter of Seattle, and Mrs. Frank Wall of Bucoda, all in Washington. Mr. Webb had been blind for twelve years but never complained of his affliction. He united with the Christian Church some years ago, which faith he held to the end. |
