Auto Accidents01
WAUPACA REPUBLICAN POST
July 7, 1910
On the evening of the Fourth as Alden Dutton was coming to the city in charge of the electric car, some children who were playing on the lawn of Nels Holmes persisted in coming near to the car. One of the little girls was swept off her feet and knocked down by the flange or the railing with no injury except some trifling wounds.
F. Nicholaison living north of the city was speeding to keep ahead of the auto of Emil Johnson. When he decided to speed past in front of the auto he fell to the ground and the front wheels of the auto rolled over him before the car could be stopped. Only some trifling bruises resulted.
