            WOLF RIVER – The Bill spoken of by our Madison correspondent as having been introduced into the Legislature by Senator Browne of Waupaca, to incorporate the Wolf River Transportation Co. provides that M. Stimson, John Lynch, Thomas Wells,, W.C. Potter, H.C. Mumbrue, W.R. Mumbrue, and H.S. Dixon, may organize as a body politic for the purpose of buying constructing and owning steamboats, barges and scows, and using them for the transportation of passengers, freight and mails on the Wolf and Fox Rivers and the lakes adjacent.  The capital stock is fixed at $45,000, with the privilege of increasing to $100,000.  The affairs of the corporation are to be managed by a Board of five directors. The bill was referred to the committee on incorporation.
